Oil Sump
oil sump replaced mechanic fault or not?
hi .. the mechanic advise me that the oil sump has to be replaced because the sump bung not
tightening up after changing the oil.
Now my question is, could be that mechanic fault after tightening up at last services or not?
To replace this aluminium oil sump for a volvo ask me 580 euros..Thanks

Would be cheaper to heli-coil the thread to the sump plug than a new sump.
