How do I get the timing gear bolt off a 1993 Lexus ES 300?
We have tried impact wrenches, breaker bars and everything we could think of. The bolt is starting to strip. Please help. Thank you.
Sorry it is the cam sprocket bolt.
I assume you mean the harmonic balancer bolt right? I take a torch and heat towards the end of the bolt head but not so much on the balancer. All it takes is a little heat an it should spin right out with a good impact gun
